About this course
The course uses a single pose as the basis for sustained drawing and painting from observation. Participants explore tonal relationships, colour and perception while making individual visual responses to what they see. Teaching includes one-to-one tuition, allowing attention to be given to each participant’s developing work and approach. The all-level format includes both drawing and painting, with the emphasis on extended observation rather than working from a series of changing subjects.
What you'll learn
- Sustain visual observation of a single pose over an extended period
- Explore tone and tonal relationships through drawing
