About this course
Participants use the workshop to continue personal printmaking projects in their chosen media. The format is self-directed, with only limited technical assistance, so learners are expected to work independently and unassisted. Sessions also cover the safe use of printmaking equipment, with health and safety guidance provided at the start and when needed during subsequent lessons.

This workshop is intended for experienced printmakers working at intermediate or advanced level. The learning is self-directed, with limited technical assistance, and participants should be able to carry out their work without ongoing support.
- Previous printmaking experience is required
- Participants should be comfortable working independently on personal projects
Before you go
- Participants should bring all personal printmaking equipment.
- Health and safety procedures must be followed, and learners will be asked to sign an agreement confirming this.
- Some chemicals may be harmful during pregnancy or cause irritation in rare cases. Participants should inform the tutor about pregnancy or sensitivities so necessary precautions can be advised.
- The print studio currently has no wheelchair access and is on the second and third floors. Learners with mobility issues should contact the department before enrolling.
