About this course
The course introduces several areas of bird study through tutor presentations, group work and opportunities for questions and answers. Topics include identifying common birds through observation, bird behaviour and ecology, birdsong, migration, and the particular difficulties of protecting birds in cities. Discussion connects these themes with wildlife conservation, helping participants examine how behaviour and ecological principles affect urban birdlife.
