About this course
The course examines ways to mix a range of skin tones in acrylic and oil paint, using a live model and artist images as references. Participants will investigate warm and cool colour palettes, analyse mixes from two shades, and use brush marks and layered paint to suggest form, texture and depth. Teaching combines practical demonstrations, handouts, individual support, group discussion and project work.
