About this course
Participants practise using specialist patternmaking equipment and applying the terminology and markings used on finished patterns. The course introduces accurate pattern drawing alongside techniques for developing garment designs. Practical work covers six skirt styles, dart manipulation on a bodice block, four bodice styles and six sleeve styles. The pattern-cutting methods introduced can also be applied to other garments.
