Patternmaking Level 2 Short Course

About this course

This course extends basic patternmaking methodology, building on knowledge covered at Level 1. Participants apply established patternmaking rules while developing their understanding of how patterns are constructed and documented. Teaching includes the use of specialist equipment, relevant patternmaking terminology, and the written and drawn information that should appear on finished patterns.

The course is intended for learners aged 18 or over who already have a good basic knowledge of patternmaking and sewing by machine. It builds on Level 1 study, which is recommended as prior preparation.
