Photography with Art and Architecture Short Course

An all-levels photography course exploring artistic and critical approaches to architecture, urban space and photographic representation.
About this course
The course combines discussion-led seminars with practical photographic workshops focused on how architecture and urban environments can be represented differently. Participants investigate physical, intellectual and emotional relationships with space, using ephemeral objects or materials to alter the meaning of interior and exterior locations. Individual photographic projects develop through work with natural and artificial light, including daytime and nighttime photography. The course concludes with a feedback seminar in which participants present their portfolios and discuss the ideas behind their projects.
