About this course

These group lessons develop existing piano training or experience through work on chord progressions, key signatures, music theory and musical terminology. Repertoire spans several genres and includes intricate melodies and solo works, with course content adapted to the group. Learners practise on keyboards, play together and have opportunities to perform solo. The teacher provides individual feedback during the sessions, alongside tuition aimed at refining technique, musical understanding and improvisational ability.

Is this course right for you?

The course is intended for improver-level learners building on previous piano training or experience. Participation combines group playing with individual solo opportunities and feedback, rather than being exclusively one-to-one tuition.

  • Previous piano training or experience is indicated
  • Learners must be aged 18 or over
  • Conversational English is required
