About this course
Sessions revisit core Pilates exercises before introducing small progressions, such as more repetitions, greater control or light resistance. Participants practise maintaining alignment through short beginner sequences, then develop stability and technique over time. The course also introduces equipment such as resistance bands or Pilates balls to vary the challenge and support alignment. Teaching is structured around repetition and steady development, allowing learners to refine their movement and sustain correct technique for longer.
What you'll learn
- Maintain alignment during a short sequence of beginner Pilates exercises with less tutor prompting.
- Perform beginner exercises using progressions such as increased repetitions or added resistance.
- Select and use suitable equipment, such as a resistance band or Pilates ball, to support alignment and increase challenge.
- Demonstrate greater control and stability while sustaining correct technique.
Is this course right for you?
The course is intended for beginner learners and also accommodates people returning to Pilates. Its participation style centres on revisiting fundamental exercises, repetition and gradual progression, rather than introducing movements without preparation.
- Returning learners can use the sessions to refine technique and revisit beginner-level skills.
