About this course
The course introduces Pilates through an initial mobility assessment and a brief look at Joseph Pilates’ history. Participants practise breathing techniques, core-strengthening exercises and ways to use muscles more efficiently, with attention to posture, alignment, balance and movement control. Whole-body toning and relaxation are also included. Teaching combines guided physical exercises with individual assessment, advice and personalised feedback where possible, allowing participants to ask questions and receive individual attention while developing foundational Pilates skills.
