About this course
The course develops Pilates technique through standing, seated and floor-based exercises. Participants work on breathing, core engagement, posture, muscle efficiency, joint mobilisation and strengthening across major muscle groups, alongside relaxation exercises. Teaching combines practical exercise with tutor observation, self-evaluation and personalised feedback. The programme is intended to help participants refine how they perform movements and use their muscles during continuous, gentle exercise.

Is this course right for you?
This course is intended for learners with established Pilates experience who want to develop their technique beyond fundamental work. The provider asks participants to have around one year’s previous Pilates experience, unless referred by a previous tutor, and to be reasonably healthy and mobile. Classes include standing, seated and floor exercises.
