Play-reading

About this course

Participants read two plays aloud and examine their themes, stories, writing styles and historical contexts. Sessions combine tutor explanation with group reading, question-and-answer and discussion of particular topics in the texts. A gentle vocal warm-up introduces each session, while the shared reading format allows participants to consider how meaning and clarity emerge from the scripts.
