What Beginner (A1) Polish means

At A1 Polish, learners are beginning to use familiar words and simple sentences in predictable everyday situations.

  • Introduce yourself

Mam na imię Anna. Mieszkam w Londynie.

My name is Anna. I live in London.

  • Order in a café

    Poproszę kawę.

I would like a coffee, please.

  • Ask for directions

    Przepraszam, gdzie jest dworzec?

Excuse me, where is the station?

These are general examples of language use at this level, not a description of any individual course syllabus.
