About this course
Lessons focus on spoken communication through interactive activities, including group work and role-plays, with teaching conducted primarily in Polish. Learners practise listening, speaking, reading and writing while discussing relationships, emotions, history, art, legends and cultural heritage. The course also introduces participles and passive structures for describing actions and events. Participants work on accurate dates, descriptive language, pronunciation in connected speech, intonation, and recognising formal Polish used in media and official contexts.

- Express full dates accurately in speech and writing
- Use present and past participles, including passive structures, to describe actions and events
- Pronounce participle forms clearly and adjust intonation when telling stories or expressing feelings
- Recognise formal language in media and official contexts
Is this course right for you?
This course is intended for pre-intermediate learners who have already been studying Polish for some time. Previous study at Polish Level 11, or a course totalling at least 132 class hours, is recommended. Learners who are unsure of their level can take a placement test.
