What Elementary (A2) Polish means

At A2 Polish, learners can handle simple routine exchanges and describe familiar aspects of everyday life.

  • Describe your routine

Zwykle jeżdżę do pracy autobusem i wracam do domu o szóstej.

I normally go to work by bus and return home at six.

  • Make a simple plan

Chcesz iść do kina w sobotę po południu?

Would you like to go to the cinema on Saturday afternoon?

  • Talk about the recent past

Wczoraj zjadłam kolację z przyjaciółmi, a potem poszliśmy na spacer.

Yesterday I had dinner with friends and then we went for a walk.

These are general examples of language use at this level, not a description of any individual course syllabus.

Is this course right for you?

  • Previous Polish study is recommended, equivalent to Level 3 or around 36 class hours
  • Learners should be prepared to take part in group activities and role-plays
  • Progression is based on class participation and self-study rather than formal tests
