Polish Level 5 | Evenings

About this course

Lessons are conducted primarily in Polish and use spoken communication as the main focus. Learners practise everyday interactions through group work and role-plays, while developing listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. The course covers directions, places in towns, travel and movement, modal verbs for expressing preferences and needs, and the distinction between one-time and habitual movement verbs. It also addresses natural intonation in questions and requests, alongside cultural aspects of getting around in Poland, including traffic rules and pedestrian habits. Progression is based on class participation and self-study rather than formal tests.

Is this course right for you?

The course is intended for Elementary learners who have already studied some Polish. The level label suggests developing beyond the earliest foundations, and previous study at Level 4 or an equivalent course is recommended. Lessons involve spoken communication, group work and role-plays, and are mainly conducted in Polish.
