What Beginner (A1) Polish means

At A1 Polish, learners are beginning to use familiar words and simple sentences in predictable everyday situations.

    My name is Anna. I live in London.

    Poproszę kawę.

    I would like a coffee, please.

  • Ask for directions

    Przepraszam, gdzie jest dworzec?

About this course

This introductory session covers everyday Polish for meeting people, including greetings, self-introductions and exchanging personal information such as age, nationality and profession. Teaching combines spoken practice with group work and role-plays, alongside structured attention to grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. The teacher uses Polish throughout, giving learners an opportunity to work on comprehension and listening as well as basic communication.
