About this course
The course explores chord symbols, voicings and harmony across all keys, including seventh chords, minor harmony and extensions. Participants work on bass lines, scale choices, rhythmic grooves, ear playing and selected pop, rock and soul songs. Teaching combines tutor explanations and demonstrations with group tuition, playing alongside classmates and group performance. Regular feedback is provided as learners develop their keyboard technique, musicianship and coordination.

Is this course right for you?
This course is intended for intermediate players with at least two years of experience playing soul, rock or pop piano. The stated entry level includes experience with seventh chords in C, F and G major using different inversions. Learners should be prepared to play with and to others in the group and practise between lessons.
