About this course
Participants develop contemporary vocal technique through exercises focused on breathing, posture, vocal range, flexibility and dynamic control. The course applies these skills to a varied selection of pop and rock songs, with work on phrasing, tone and stylistic interpretation. Most singing takes place in a group, including ensemble work on listening, harmony and blending. There are also occasional opportunities to sing individually and receive personalised feedback on technique and vocal style.

Is this course right for you?
This course is intended for adults with some understanding of singing technique who want to develop their pop and rock vocals further. Previous singing experience or completion of a beginner singing course is required, along with the ability to hear notes and sing them back. Singing is mainly undertaken in a group, with occasional individual singing.

- Good spoken and written English is required.
