About this course

The course explores hand building with porcelain, focusing on producing thin slabs and joining them to construct vessels. Participants will develop their own templates and discuss the design process during the workshop. Teaching combines demonstrations with individual guidance. Techniques for adding pattern and texture will be covered, alongside the use of underglazes and simple clear glazing. The course does not include a specific kiln firing, although the firing process will be discussed. Completed pieces will be prepared for bisque firing.
