About this course
The course examines portraiture through both photographic practice and technical study. Participants explore composition, working with a sitter, sources of inspiration and the history of portrait photography while developing an individual approach to the medium. Sessions cover portable and studio lighting, daylight, essential digital camera settings and an introduction to Adobe Photoshop. Practical exercises provide opportunities to apply these techniques, including a session working with a model.
