About this course
The course examines how the pose can inform both anatomical study and pictorial interpretation. Participants work from a live model, developing portrait images that respond to the model’s personality and the expressive qualities of the pose. Sessions use pastels, water-based media and oil paints, with a different model introduced every three sessions.
