About this course
The course develops spoken Portuguese through lessons conducted primarily in Portuguese, with group work, role-plays and practical tasks relating to everyday situations. Learners work across listening, speaking, reading and writing while refining grammar, vocabulary and conversational fluency. Pronunciation work covers recognising and reproducing specific sounds, speech pace, connected words and intonation. The course also includes a focus on cultural awareness, supported by lesson summaries, notes and additional study resources.

Is this course right for you?
This course is intended for upper-intermediate Portuguese learners, corresponding to B2. Previous study to a fairly high level is recommended, with Portuguese Level 25 or at least 216 class hours given as an indication. Participation includes group work and role-plays, with lessons mainly conducted in Portuguese.
