About this course
This course develops practical Portuguese for travel through guided conversations, role-plays and realistic situations. Participants practise greetings, hotel interactions, ordering food, asking for directions, using transport, shopping and handling problems such as delays or lost items. The course also covers polite requests, everyday etiquette and communication differences relevant to Portugal, Brazil and other Portuguese-speaking destinations. Learners work with survival phrases, high-frequency vocabulary, pronunciation guidance and strategies for rephrasing or asking for clarification when a word is unfamiliar. European and Brazilian Portuguese may both be included, depending on travel plans.
