About this course
This course develops Portuguese for conversations about clothing, shopping, health, nutrition, relationships, emotions and personal experiences. Learners also practise reading public notices and discussing advice, symptoms and feelings. Lessons combine spoken interaction with structured work on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and listening. The teacher conducts the class in Portuguese, while group activities and role-plays provide opportunities to use the language. Grammar includes pronouns, interrogative phrases, negative constructions and selected verb forms.

Is this course right for you?
The course is intended for learners at Pre-intermediate (A2+) level who have already studied Portuguese for some time. The stated route into the course is completion of Portuguese Level 9 or at least 108 class hours. Participation involves spoken communication, group work and role-plays.
