About this course
This course develops Portuguese for situations including describing hotel services, discussing present and past habits, expressing emotions and writing formal emails. Vocabulary covers hotels, travel, emotions and rural life, alongside work on verb forms, direct object pronouns and the past continuous tense. Lessons combine spoken communication with structured grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation practice. Group activities and role-plays provide opportunities to use the language, while teaching in Portuguese supports listening and comprehension. The course also explores Lisbon in the present and the past.

The course is intended for learners at the pre-intermediate (A2+) level who have already studied Portuguese for a substantial period. Previous completion of Portuguese Level 10 or at least 120 class hours is required. Participation includes regular group work and role-plays, with the teacher speaking Portuguese throughout.
