About this course
This course develops Spanish communication across present, past and future contexts, with dialogues and situations including medical appointments, holiday planning and social arrangements. Topics include organising parties, explaining recipes, discussing healthy living, making recommendations and expressing hypothetical wishes. Teaching follows a communicative approach, combining classroom activities, role-play and group discussion. Learners also explore cultural knowledge relating to Spanish-speaking countries. Progress is reviewed through weekly homework checks and assessments carried out in class.

Is this course right for you?
The course is intended for learners at Intermediate (B1) level who have completed the provider’s previous intermediate stage or can demonstrate an equivalent level through a placement test. Participation involves role-play, group discussion, classroom activities and regular homework.
