Pottery Painting

About this course

Participants learn how to transfer a pattern or design onto a ceramic surface before painting it. The class introduces several painting styles, allowing each participant to develop their own decorative approach rather than follow a single prescribed design. A selection of patterns is available, while participants may also bring a design of their own. The focus is on decorating an individual ceramic piece through guided demonstration and practical painting.

What you'll learn

• Apply a method for transferring patterns and designs onto a ceramic surface
• Use different pottery painting styles
• Plan and execute a decorative design on a ceramic piece
