About this course

The workshop introduces practical safety procedures alongside supervised use of a combination drill, impact driver, random orbital sander and jigsaw. Participants examine screw types and fasteners, set up a suitable workspace and use personal protective equipment appropriately. Teaching focuses on beginner techniques for drilling, sanding and cutting wood, including making accurate cuts, avoiding common hazards and selecting an appropriate tool for a task.
