Preserved Moss Art Workshop

About this course

Participants create a tactile, three-dimensional moss landscape by sketching a composition, combining bun and sheet moss, and building varied textures within a wooden frame. The session covers how preserved moss is harvested and treated, then demonstrates ways to layer and mount it to form raised hills and valleys. Instruction is step by step, with guidance provided as each learner develops an individual artwork. The finished piece is designed as a wall-mounted natural artwork.

• All materials and tools are provided, including a handcrafted wooden frame, preserved moss varieties, guidance and a carry case.
• Sharp scissors are used during the workshop.
• The completed preserved moss artwork can be taken home and does not require watering or maintenance.
