Printmaking weekend: monoprinting workshop

About this course

Participants explore direct draw, subtractive and additive monoprinting, using layers of ink to create one-off images. Demonstrations cover the use of inks, rollers, papers and the etching press, followed by practical assignments and experimentation with adding and removing ink. The course combines individual work with one-to-one guidance and group discussion. Participants may develop a composition or series from sketches, photographs or other visual sources, either as finished prints or as material for further work.
