About this course
The course focuses on constructing lightweight garments using methods associated with high-quality ready-to-wear fashion. Participants work from pre-cut fabric pieces, making individual components before assembling them with attention to accuracy, efficiency and handling. Practical work includes producing sample collections that demonstrate garment construction techniques such as inserting zips, forming sleeve openings and attaching collars. The course is structured and fast-paced, requiring sustained concentration while learners refine their existing sewing skills.
