Progress with Ceramics: Intermediate-Advanced

About this course

Learners develop a ceramic project from research and design through construction and finishing, drawing on contemporary and historical ceramics for inspiration. Depending on the project, they work with handbuilding and/or wheel throwing, then explore surface decoration and glazing. The course covers intermediate and advanced construction techniques alongside design development. Tutor guidance and feedback are available for part of each session, with learners working independently for the remainder.
