About this course
Participants explore how breathing, pacing and vocal control affect public speaking, using exercises focused on sustaining the voice, projection, resonance and clarity. The course also examines body language and the role of emotion in tone and delivery. Practical speech work forms part of each session. Learners speak in front of the group, deliver prepared speeches on teacher-set topics and receive individual feedback. The course also introduces improvisation, speech structure and approaches to speaking authentically rather than presenting a performed confidence.
