About this course
This course develops public speaking beyond foundational techniques through work on pausing, stillness, presence, storytelling and emotional communication. Participants use narrative methods, improvisation and clowning exercises to shape more engaging presentations, while exploring how intention, tone, words and body language affect an audience. Each class includes speech practice. Prepared speeches are delivered to others during the course, with individual feedback to help refine delivery. The course concludes with an opportunity to present a speech to a live audience, applying the techniques covered in the sessions.

Is this course right for you?
The course is intended for improver-level speakers developing beyond foundational public-speaking techniques. Completion of Level 1 is recommended but not essential. Participants should be prepared to speak in front of others, complete speech preparation as homework and address a live audience at the end.
