Ready Steady Bake – Christmas Edition

About this course

The class begins with a baking demonstration covering recipes, techniques, tips and shortcuts. Participants then recreate the Christmas menu with guidance in the cookery school kitchen. Recipes include mince pies, Noel gingerbread biscuits, cinnamon, walnut and banana loaf, and orange chocolate brownies. The teaching focuses on applying the demonstrated methods and adapting recipes for successful baking.

Listed as suitable for all levels, the class is structured around demonstration followed by guided individual baking. Participants booking alone may be paired with another learner. Children under 10 must attend with a paying adult, and each person taking part requires an individual paid booking.

Before you go

• Aprons, equipment, ingredients and kitchen facilities are provided.
• Participants should bring a large container for taking the baked goods home.
