RJS – Beginner Saxophone

About this course

The course introduces the foundations of saxophone playing through work on embouchure, sound production and core technique, with a focus on jazz. Learners practise in a group and receive personalised feedback related to their own goals. The musical material ranges from simple pieces to more challenging arrangements selected for the group’s level. There is no formal assessment, and learners develop at their own pace while building a foundation in saxophone playing.

Is this course right for you?

This course is designed for complete beginners and does not require previous musical experience. It suits learners keen to start saxophone and explore jazz. Teaching takes place collaboratively as a group, while feedback and development are tailored to each learner’s goals and pace.
