About this course
The course develops communication in situations including medical appointments, clothes shopping and train travel. Learners practise discussing illnesses and body parts, describing colours and sizes, and making arrangements at a station. Language work covers adjective cases, adjective superlatives and an introduction to verbs of motion. Teaching centres on spoken interaction, with pair and group activities, role plays and games supported by presentations, hand-outs and audio-visual resources. Homework is recommended to reinforce class learning.
