About this course
Participants learn to use Sage Business Cloud Accounting for routine bookkeeping and financial administration. The course covers setting up an organisation, configuring VAT and financial-year settings, managing account codes and contacts, processing sales and purchase transactions, recording expenses, reconciling bank activity and producing standard financial reports. Teaching combines trainer-led demonstrations, guided walkthroughs, interactive tutorials within the Sage platform and practice scenarios. Progress is checked through knowledge checks, set tasks such as creating and posting invoices, and a final quiz or mini-project.
What you'll learn
- Set up an organisation in Sage Business Cloud Accounting, including financial-year and VAT settings
- Manage chart-of-accounts codes, customer records and supplier records
- Create sales invoices and credit notes, then track related payments
- Record purchase invoices, petty cash transactions and staff expenses
- Connect bank feeds and carry out bank reconciliations
- Run, export and interpret basic reports such as profit and loss, balance sheet and aged debtor or creditor reports
