Salsa Classes - Intermediate 2

About this course

The course develops salsa technique through footwork, warm-ups, partner work, combinations and double-turn couple combinations. Participants work on timing, musicality, technique and styling, including separate approaches to ladies’ and men’s styling. Content may include dancing on 2 in New York, Palladium and Power 2 styles, as well as more complex patterns with longer sequences before repetition. Teaching includes feedback throughout, with opportunities to develop smoother combinations and a more individual approach to salsa.

Is this course right for you?

This course is intended for experienced salsa dancers rather than beginners. The Intermediate-plus label indicates a level beyond fundamental techniques, and the source recommends prior intermediate study or around a year of salsa training elsewhere. Participants should be prepared to work with partners, although they do not need to bring one.
