Salsa Intensive - Beginners

About this course

The course introduces core salsa steps and fundamental moves, then develops these into travelling steps, transitions and more complex combinations. Timing and rhythm are explored alongside opportunities to practise the material and use steps and moves freestyle. Teaching combines structured progression with practice and feedback from the tutor. Learners work alongside their peers, and a partner is not required to attend.

Is this course right for you?

Labelled Beginner, the course is intended as an introduction to salsa and focuses on building from basic steps towards combinations. It involves practising alongside other learners, with tutor feedback throughout, and does not require participants to bring a partner.

• Bring suitable footwear with a smooth sole. Trainers are not suitable for salsa dancing.
