About this course

The course introduces several ways to make and finish ceramic work. Participants prepare and reclaim clay, throw on an electric potter’s wheel, build vessels from rolled slabs and form bowls using the pinch technique. Decorating and glazing methods are also covered, including glazing work made during the course. Learning is organised around practical activities, regular discussions and a Personal Learning Plan. Participants can record their work and development, while tutor feedback helps them review their techniques and focus on individual goals.
