It is structured as a shorter introduction or refresher for learners who cannot attend weekday classes. The course takes place in an intaglio print room equipped for these printmaking techniques.

Before you go

• An intaglio print room is provided for the course.
• Wear an apron or old clothes.
• Bring ideas and source material, basic drawing materials, an eraser, and a nylon sable-type brush in sizes 2 to 6.
• Dry point or etching needles, a burnisher, magnifying glass and scraper are optional.
• Plates and paper can be bought in the print room; card payment is accepted.
• A further materials list is provided one week before the course begins.
