About this course
The course develops foundational Italian through structured work with Dieci A1 alongside conversations, role-plays, speaking tasks, pair and group activities, and cultural material. Learners practise introducing themselves, exchanging personal information, ordering food, making reservations, describing homes and cities, and asking for or giving directions. Language work covers common present-tense verbs, articles, nouns and adjectives, negation, prepositions, and expressions such as c’è and ci sono. The teacher may adapt the selection and order of material to the group, using selected content from the coursebook rather than covering every page.
What you'll learn
- Introduce yourself and others, and exchange basic personal information in Italian
- Use common present-tense regular and irregular verbs in simple communication
- Order food and drinks, express preferences, and make a restaurant reservation

- No previous Italian experience is required
- The programme combines three beginner levels in one focused course
- Learners should be comfortable with a faster pace than a gradual evening-course format
