About this course

The course introduces model animation and stop-frame 3D puppetry. Participants will examine different types of professional puppets, make a simple puppet of their own and practise animating a character through structured exercises. Teaching focuses on performance, timing and characterisation, leading to the recording of a short animated sequence with added sound or music. The class is also suitable for exploring model animation as a new technique or refining existing animation skills.
