About this course

Training combines screen technique, script breakdown, characterisation and scene study with filmed exercises and playback. Participants work on listening, stillness, subtext, inner monologue, emotional preparation and performance across genres, while practising shot types, blocking, continuity, eyelines and adapting to direction on set. The course also covers self-taping, in-person auditions, voice and movement for screen, industry practice and personal branding. Participants collaborate on short-film productions, prepare showreel scenes, take part in masterclasses and workshops, and work towards live and recorded showcases.
