About this course
This course focuses on animation in 3DS Max for learners who already have introductory knowledge of the software. Teaching combines demonstrations, formal instruction, exercises and individual tuition. Participants work with timeline and animation tools, including keyframe and stop-frame methods, procedural animation, particle systems, animated textures and animation modifiers. The course also covers storyboarding, planning, cameras, lighting, rendering, net rendering and workflow. Learners develop an individual or group portfolio project from idea development through to completion, with progress reviewed through coursework, observation and in-class tests.
