About this course

The course examines self-confidence, self-belief, self-efficacy and self-esteem, including how thoughts, emotions, physicality and behaviour can influence confidence. It considers experiences such as the accidental leader role and imposter syndrome. Participants explore approaches including recognising achievements, challenging negative automatic thoughts, using affirmations and social support, handling feedback and criticism, and applying body language. The course also covers effective goal-setting and creating a confidence-building action plan. Teaching takes place in the classroom and online.
