About this course
The course examines how self-taped auditions differ from live performance and how actors can adapt their choices for camera. Participants prepare sides through script breakdown, beats and objectives, then rehearse and film a scene with a reader, using multiple takes and feedback. It also covers framing, eyeline, lighting, backgrounds and clear audio, followed by editing, compression, file naming and delivery to casting specifications. The course includes guidance on creating a repeatable self-tape checklist for future auditions.
