The class examines how different knit weights behave and introduces techniques for handling stretch fabrics when making garments. Participants work towards a T-shirt using either the fitted Wardrobe Builder T-shirt pattern or the boxy Big T-shirt pattern, applying methods for achieving clean, professional finishes. The focus is on adapting garment-sewing practice from woven fabrics to jersey and stable knits, without relying on an overlocker.
